Play 2.3 app in a subdirectory of git repo

I am having the issue described here

The accepted solution is unacceptable for me :) I would like to be able to specify the path of the Play app to be launched and not having to have in the root of the repository.

I'm closing this because Play 2.3 apps use the heroku-buildpack-scala buildpack. This issue is covered by heroku/heroku-buildpack-scala#19. We'll try to get it fixed soon.
