Add Bookmarks directly in lists in mobile apps #889
Comments
Is the request about smart lists in particular or also manual lists? Because you can do this in manual lists today. Anything you add to the editor box in the manual lists gets added to the list automatically (same with favs, archived and tags). |
With smart lists, it's much harder (and probably just not possible). Sometimes the list name can match multiple lists, or you can have "or" conditions which makes the decision of which condition to respect harder. So I don't think it's always possible to infer how yo edit a bookmark to make it match a smart lists. |
Yeah I thought the smart lists are a bit harder this way, unless you can force adding them to a list with just the list ID. Nonetheless I do not see any way to add an entry directly so a list, at least not on mobil (android) And also, thank you for having developed this amazing app! I never thought I would migrate from pocket and get actually organized |
@jakob1379 yeah, adding to lists only works on desktop so far, not available on the mobile app yet unfortunately. |
Describe the feature you'd like
create a bookmark directly in a list
Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Hoarder users
Currently you have to create a bookmark and then add it to a list separately.
this reduces the speed and flow at which you get organised.
I suggest that in the views of lists you would be able to directly add items. For simple lists this is fairly straight forward, but the smart lists I'm unsure if this is directly possible
Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?
Not that I know of
