⚡️ Features

  • Sort playlists & artist pages by play count, popularity, release date, and Last.fm scrobbles.
  • Filter playlists by genre using data from Spotify and Last.fm.
  • Get artists full discography (singles, albums, compilation).
  • Generate AI playlists from prompts, using the current playlist or artist as a base.
  • Play count column in playlists.
  • Connects to your Last.fm account.
  • Remove duplicate tracks, keeping the most popular version.
  • Smart Shuffle considering track similarity and artist diversity.
  • Toggle ascending/descending in release date sorting.
  • Save sorted tracks to a new private playlist.

🛠️ Installation

Manual Installation

  1. Ensure that Spicetify is installed on your system.

  2. Copy the sort-play-loader.mjs file to the Spicetify Extensions folder:

    • Windows: %appdata%\spicetify\Extensions
    • Linux & macOS: ~/.config/spicetify/Extensions

  3. Open a terminal and run spicetify config extensions sort-play-loader.mjs and spicetify apply

Using Marketplace

  1. Ensure that Spicetify is installed on your system.
  2. Open the Spicetify Marketplace.
  3. Search for "Sort Play".
  4. Click Install.
