Our readthedocs page has changed styles over the last few releases. It'll take some configuration fiddling to get back to what we had.

The various versions are:

latest TOC in the left-hand side bar is too narrow
v0.11.1 Style changed, some in-text TOCs are not deep enough
v0.11 original style

It may be worth re-organizing some of the documentation, or finding a way to dynamically-collapsable TOC navigation.
