Short Description

We want to improve our SDKs and cloud agent to gain flexibility on which did methods to use in our SDKs. This will allow other projects to onboard Identus for their existing identity solutions.

Value statement

This is an opportunity for us to grow our community and the Hyperledger Identity project. In 2025 there’s Networks which are shutting down and people using them must migrate to other systems. I think Cardano plays a big role in here because this blockchain was not used to purely manage Identity, is mature and will never go away or shutdown.

Allowing additional did methods will also ensure and make our stack easier to maintain and upgrade.
