Bind to any key

I have a useless key next to my left shift key that I would like to use to start a submap. However, this key writes the '<' parenthesis when pressed.

This is what I've tried:

bind = , key:94, submap, configuration

and also

bind = , <, submap, configuration

Is it possible for Hyprland to catch this key and not let it pass through to the underlying window?
