Hi

I am working on a case where I need information on particle density and particle velocity. My study involves a hollow cylinder where gas flows in from the inlet at one end and escape from the outlet at the other end. Pressure inlet condition, diffuse reflection at the walls. and a deletion patch at both outlet (vacuum outlet basically) and inlet is used.

I am not sure how to extract flux data from the simulation data, so was wondering if the particle flux is constant. Can someone help me with this?

Hi,
take a look at src/lagrangian/dsmc/macroscopicProperties/derived/flux/dsmcFluxSurface. This might be what you are looking for :-)

Okay. In the tutorials, I didn't find macroscopic properties being used specifically.
Can you tell me where to use dsmcFluxSurface?
