Hi everyone,

I am simulating argon gas flowing with 80kpa pressure and 4000 K temperature into a low-pressure region of 10 Torr with dsmcFoam+. I initialize this 2D axisymmetric simulation with 4000 K temperature and a velocity of 800 m/s (a typical velocity at the inlet) and I set the initial number density such that a 10 Torr uniform pressure exists in the domain. For the inlet, I use dsmcWangPressureInlet, and for the outlet I use " dsmcLiouFangPressureOutletSpecifiedMolarFraction ". After some time, I observe the shock structure that should form in this type of simulation, however, referring to the attached picture, the temperature contour at the outlet boundary shows that seemingly the initial hot gas has not left the domain yet! Therefore, to resolve this issue, I let the simulation run for a longer period, but I observed no changes even after some time.

Do you have any instructions to help me resolve this issue? If you need any other information please let me know.
