How to understand dimensions 1 correspond to neighbouring slices? #4

Thank you for your shareing!
I can't understand how the first dimension correspond to the neighbouring slices. I have studied it was performed on three consecutive cross-sections. But I still don't know how to construct my own dataset in terms of dimension 1. Could you help me? Thank you.

The adjacent slices of the same patient are stacked to form the data set, but I think this dimension of data is long and should be stacked by multiple patients, so there should be no strict adjacent information in the whole data set. btw, I would like to ask if it is possible to obtain the slice order information of the processed data set itself
