Describe the issue

Bing excerpt appear to be broken, displaying unintelligible characters.
Here is an example URL https://www.bing.com/search?q=rats%20ietf (and the archived version)

I'm using Firefox 133.0.3 on Ubuntu 24.04. I tested on Chrome 131.0.6778.85 and ended up with the same issue.

This is not an issue when searching with Google, but the issue is present on search using Bing as a backend such as DuckDuckGo

I think this has to be a bing issue - it's not clear what the datatracker could be doing to lead to the strange text. Note that it sometimes happens with other bits of card it pulls together:
