What

A problem occurs if the media thumbnail (poster image) has a ratio of 4:3. The poster image has no "cover" behaviour. You can see the video below left and right.

Why

It is a bug.

Context

OK, we can only use/crop 16:9 poster images.... but it's weird. Are you thinking of using YouTube thumbnails... which are sometimes only 4:3, and you have to resize/ crop them manually?

Fixed in production by resizing/shortening each 3:4 media thumbnail to 16:9 by hand. I left this issue open as a reminder.
