However, no matter what I enter, the only tasks I can see in the Day Planner Timeline are those created within Daily notes since 2024-05-16 (the date I set up Day Planner and Tasks). I've tried -"Daily" and "Daily/TODO" to explicitly include the folder/file. I've tried giving the #TODO tag to the Daily/TODO note and using the -#TODO / -"#TODO" filters. Nothing seems to cause tasks from that note to be included in the planner.

I tried explicitly assigning a date to one of the tasks (via 📅 2024-05-18 syntax from Tasks plugin, and via 2024-05-18 18:00 syntax from Day Planner plugin). It did not show up in the timeline.

Currently have the problem that not all of my tasks that have assigned dates and times (eg. due to using the Reminder and tasks plugin) are visible in week-view of the day planner plugin. Some are, some not. Maybe this has something to do with the issue @Jafner described before.

To display all assigned tasks I simply set "" as dataview source.

My aim is to see all assigned tasks from my vault in my Day Planner.

Appreciate the Plugin and any help for a non-programmer (trying his best to get things to work).

Much love to everyone

Ok, I found something for my own problem. Tasks are only visible if they have a scheduled date (eg. with using tasks it would look like this ⏳ 2025-01-22) but tasks are not visible if they only have a due date (eg. with using tasks would look like this 📅 2025-01-21)

So, in my case, I use Reminder, tasks and Day Planner complementary. Meaning that the Reminder Plugin needs something like this ⏰ 2025-01-23 10:00 + a due date. The Time can also be read by the Day Planner Plugin, which is great. But the Day Planner Plugin also needs a scheduled date. You won´t see anything if there is only a due date. (Except for tasks in your Daily note under the default heading.

So, if your setup is like mine you´ll need something like this for all three Plugins to work properly: ⏰ 2025-1-22 10:00 ⏫ ⏳ 2025-01-22 📅 2025-01-24

Improvement would be: Day Planner should integrate a Notification-System that has similar customization options like the Reminder Plugin has (eg. snoozing for default timespans incl. posponing to other days, choosing how to be notified (system or Pop-up inside Obsidian).
The current notification system in Day Planner notifies you via the System with no Options to choose (in Reminder you can: Set task to be done, mute the notification -> task will be shown in the section overdue, or snooze task for default time)
