The original wxFreeChart implemented some macros which appear to be designed to provide similar functionality to the wxWidgets event mechanism.
It will be more understandable and easier to maintain if the library uses standard wxWidgets techniques.

Implemented in f448252. There are no longer any 'fire' macros or observers. The documentation for this now needs to be done but is covered by Issue #1.
