I'm not sure if this is simply a characteristic/quirk of the original Hershey lettering, but the spacing between the letter I and M seems... off. At least with the futural.jhf font.
As can be seen in the attachment, the spacing is fine when M proceeds I regardless of case (so, "mi", "Mi", "mI", "MI" all seem fine), but when the I proceeds the M, they are too close and sometimes even overprint.
