In #570, I mentioned that an option for deploying Janet web apps that run on the server is Heroku. You can do this using the Janet buildpack that I made last year.
One thing that I didn't get around to doing at the time was posting an example of a repository that uses this buildpack. hello-janet is such an example. It's the app that you see if you visit this link. You can have it render a personalised greeting by adding a string to the end of the URL (e.g. /pyrmont).
As the hello-janet repo hopefully makes clear, there's really not much to it at all. You need a
project.janet
file and you need aProcfile
that tells Heroku what to run and that's about it.If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask!
