Options placeholder: false breaks text input #84

The issue arrises when using the :options attribute with

{
  placeholder: false
}

Expected behavior

To be able to type normally

Actual behavior

Can only type one character at a time.

Encountered a similar issue on Chrome with the latest version (1.1.5) downloaded from NPM. Solved by reverting to 1.1.4.
