Push data to Prometheus directly

The prom output will write lines ready to be picked by node exporter. As seen in the code provided in user_contributed/grafana/prometheus, the current solution could be improved.

Currently, the page proposes to store output into files, and let node exporter pick them. I tried it and it implies several drawbacks:

• files are not deleted automatically, thus taking more and more disk space
• doing the cleanup would mean to add another step
• more importantly, node exporter exports all files at each iteration, and this is quite bad, exploding logs at the same time

I would like to propose a patch to remove any intermediary step, like it's done for the influx2_mqtt output, and push data to Prometheus directly.

Would you be interested in such a patch?
