Does the script support scanning a remote host or file share?

Setting the target to: "\server\S" results in...

"Failed to scan folder: Microsoft.PowerShell.Core\FileSystem::\server\S. Reason: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation"

Scanning a mapped drive, like U: also results in an error... "Cannot find drive..."

The goal is to scan hosts remotely vs. installing Excel on servers. Thanks for the script @jksdua

Hmm...never tried that but I would have thought that it would work just like any other folder. I'll setup a share on my local network and give it a go.

Thanks! I think there were three ways I tried:

\server\ (server only)
\server\S: (share drive)
\server\sharename (verbose share name)
