This How-to is outdated, following Analog the version LTspice XVII for Windows is End of Support, as of today updated version is Version 24.0.9.
However this comes as MSI-file, and no anymore as .exe, and is not directly running by wine. Any idea?

Today, I installed the MSI file on my Ubuntu 24 system. The procedure is similar to the XVII version: you can install it normally and then run it.

^^^ Correct. Wine can run .msi files.
