I installed this amazing project yesterday. To say that my library is unwieldy is just an understatement. I'm curious, though. Does maintainerr execute in an automated fashion? What I mean is, over time as my library changes, does it automatically execute the rules and update items scheduled for whatever is targeted for any collection they land in? Or, do I need to manually execute the rules from time to time. I apologize if this information was already available, but I couldn't find it. |

Hey, thanks for giving Maintainerr a try! Rule handling is an automatic process that runs every 8 or so hours. Media that matches will be added to the collection (or removed from the collection if it no longer matches). Collection handling is also an automatic process that runs every 12 hours. It’ll remove (or unmonitor) media that’s been in the collection for longer than the specified amount of days. The UI buttons are actually just for testing purposes, to verify that your rules output the correct result. Once you’re happy with your rules, you don’t have to open Maintainerr anymore. |
