It's an mistake in the description. The behaviour is intentional and the text should read:
From what I remember, a tap key will always activate tap for tap-hold-except-keys. You may want to use another variant instead. I don't use |

Please note: I'm still confused about how input time and output time are calculated for the Kanata Simulator.
The tap-hold-except-keys definition:
In the second input line in this Kanata Simulator, I gave 300 ms between the press of the
a
andq
key to ensurea
is held long enough to cause the hold action. However, in the output, there is only 6 ms between those presses. What is the input to ensure the
a
key is held long enough to cause the hold action to take place before pressing theq
key?My manual testing shows
$tap-action
is activated early if a key within$tap-keys
is pressed regardless of the hold time.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
