Support SQL queries

SQL queries used by both Loyalty and LV N2 support.

Please use the following template when creating a new SQL queries:

-- Description: What is this query for?
-- Output example: Give an example of what is returned in order to save time of your future self and your colleagues when trying to figure out how this works :)
-- Query: The query itself

Example:

-- Description: Return a relationship of all clients and their total orders amount.

-- Output example:
-- CLIENT_CODE CLIENT_NAME SUM(ORDERS.AMOUNT)
-- ---------- ---------------------------------------- --------------------------
-- A001 Subbarao 200

-- Query:
SELECT clients.client_code, clients.client_name, SUM(orders.amount)
FROM clients
JOIN orders ON orders.client_code = clients.client_code
GROUP BY clients.client_code, clients.client_name
ORDER BY clients.client_code;

Important

  • When creating a new file, use a brief and descriptive naming. Ex: get-total-user-points.sql
  • Remember to review the whole query to remove any credentials
  • Preferentially use variables to get the credentials dynamically
  • Try to use the same formatting as used in the example, by breaking each statement in different lines
