No variables are shown in the variable inspector tab.

Describe the Bug:
Hello.
I’m working in bioinformatics research. I've primarily been using R, but now I'm transitioning back to Python, and the variable inspector isn’t working properly. The variables aren’t showing up in the variable inspector tab.
I’d like to know why this is happening and how to resolve it.
