Top-Nav items poke through when sidebar is expanded

Expected experience: Top Nav items are pushed to the left or hidden when sidebar is expanded

Ignore the left side of this screenshot please.
On the right side of the screenshot you can see that the "Google apps" button shows through the sidebar panel when it should not. Should be as simple as setting the element to display:none when the sidebar is clicked I believe

I'm not getting the google apps overlay issue, but the red "+" circle (new email) is overlaying the sidebar for me, too

The left hand nav issue where the nav items overlay over the mail items is happening for me too. It's related to the browser width, happens for me at a width of 1650px.

Is this what this issue is about? Or should I open a new issue for that?
