Nice well thought out system.

Wonderibg how we support SI units like Time, Weights , etc ?

This gonum packsge has all the common SI units that people need. Like weight etc

It’s generally easier if there is agreement on a base unit . Like all weight is in kg coming from the DB . Kind of like how all time is UTC in a DB.

The weight is gotten and converted into the value , like pounds, for an American , and then the translation system gives you back “ the apple weighs 1 pound “ since your American.
