I think the function function calculate_offset_skeletonized has two bugs:
The constant h_skel is not defined (I assume it defaults to 0? I literally know nothing about the scad language though). It should probably have some value.
If style_hole == 0 (which is "none"), it should IMHO NOT add an additional height. Especially not the screw height (the skeletonized baseplate has no screw holes).
