Does this library support the New Architecture?

I'm trying to use this library with RN 0.76.6. Downloading small files works (files with only one .mp4 file), but bigger ones (with multiple .mp4 files) give me {"error": "ERROR_CANNOT_RESUME", "errorCode": "1008}

Wasn't that issue reported in 2011?
The library is working with RN "react-native": "0.73.6", I started having problems only after updating RN to 0.76
