For those who's looking for lib with multistage engine support there's one https://github.com/SkeLLLa/pinot-noir.

It was inspired by this lib as well. So I've maintained the same approach with clients and transports as current library author. At the same time it was made in more generic way, so it supports all latest features of pinot.
And in our case it's already working in production with v1 and v2 pinot engines for about half of a year.

@xiangfu0 maybe adding a new section in pinot docs about unofficial clients mentioning these libs can help grow node.js community of pinot users and will help with maintenance of this and other pinot clients. I can make a PR, but I know only about my and this lib.
