Echidna2.0, for lack of a more creative name, is a project that aims to provide an archiving system for various experiments run within the Baliga Lab at ISB (or in collaboration with). It is to be a repository for past and present experimental data that are defined by metadata therefore making it easy to browse and search for experiments and their raw data. Once a set of experiments have been found via search/browse, a user will be able to export raw data for the selected set of experiments to do additional analysis.

The curating of such data will aid in minimizing repeat of experiments, allow new lab member to view what has already been done in addition to retrieval of raw data for additional analysis. An example query may be "Find all conditions done in a chemostat where light, UV, oxygen, H2O2, temperature, paraquat, or any heavy metals were used as perturbations."

See the Requirement Specs page for more information.
