Describe the bug
https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/pdf-viewer/oemmndcbldboiebfnladdacbdfmadadm
Some pdf.js-based extensions do not work. When you tap on a PDF file, the viewer does not launch and the file is downloaded.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Install PDF viewer from Chrome web store
  2. Tap on a link containing a pdf file within a webpage.

Expected behavior
The installed PDF viewer runs in the browser.

Screenshots
No screenshots.

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: Nothing Phone (2)
  • Android Version : Android 14
  • Kiwi Browser Version: 124.0.6327.4

Additional context
Additionally, when I launch the extension's settings from the extensions menu, a pop-up window appears in that window, but pressing the combo box does nothing.

A lot of extension has broken due to Manifest v3 updates.

I have blocked clients2.google.com in my DNS to prevent extensions from getting auto-updated.

You will have to download the extension by downloading the older CRX
