I spotted a bunch of bad translations to French, for which it was sometimes even hard to understand without translating it back to English.

I think it might to worth to have a whole review before releasing 3.12 (it would be a shame for a company with so many French people).

I did one pass. I found some strings which have already been fixed and merged few weeks ago, but are not yet fixed in the nightly ... a bit surprising. Some translations are still of course subject to debates, but at least I fixed what was really strange.

That being said, I think it could be worth to do a review of English labels as well, I'm not sure we are 100% clear or coherent on all labels. Especially we sometimes use "Real aloud" and other times "Text to speech". Are these two distinct functionalities? I don't think so, and I hence recommend to choose one and use it everywhere for clarity. And also the "Note" label in the top right corner is confusing, "Take notes" would be clearer I think. This is especially noticeable in french because we use the same word for "rating" and "note", so we are really confused by this label (I already updated the translation to "Take notes" in French).

@benoit74 Thank you! Agree with everything you said. We should have only "Read aloud" IMHO.
