No audio after ~8 minutes on long tracks

Being on RasPi 3b+, Libreelec Leia (9.2.1), Spotify 1.1.58.

Playing a long title like "Pink Floyd - Shine on you crazy diamond" (13:31) the audio output stops at about 8 minutes. The progress bar and the track time continues normally but no sound can be heard. If the track ends the next track is played normally with audio. If this track is also a long one, the issue re-occurs.

Seems most user are not affected by the issue, as most tracks are way shorter than these progressive rock dinosaurs titles.

This issue is unchanged since at least 2016 (my first installation of spotify@kodi@libreelec@raspi) and very annoying as the spotify kodi addon is really great beside that issue.

The owner of this addon (marcel veldt) had a look at this issue and some ideas, but it was never fixed.

I offer support (testing, gather information,...) to help to fix this issue

Hint: Playing the title in the Spotify Webplayer does not show this issue.

Got the same issue with Version 1.1.58 from Marcelveldt's Beta Repository, as told in the Readme. If i look in this repository i see, that the addon was updated 3 years ago. So using this repository as stated in the readme is actually not good i think. How do i get a current build of this addon?

The issue very annoying indeed.
Edith: In my observations the issue occurres after 8:18 up to 8:24 playtime. It depends on the song.

Hi, reading the feedback of KlausHans made me curious - tried the installation on Libreelec 9.2.6 @ Raspi 3B+:

It works - great.

In my opinion a last step is needed: Make this change official so it is available in the regular repository for kodi addons. at libreelec.

Unfortunately I have no idea who and how this has to be done.

Coming back to that issue:

Adding the beta repo proposed by @nforro unfortunately breaks other plugins after some updates: Dependencies cannot be fulfilled as the beta repo from the zip contains NEWER versions of some components.

So I'd like to ask polite and again: Is it possible to include the fix to the official repository to avoid these conflicts?
