Enhanced security and privacy for users who would like their transfers to go through CoinJoin or zk-SNARKS to mix transactions, making them harder to trace.

For instance, I hate making blockchain transactions to people, so I always prefer to pay them over LN - untraceable. However, if I really have to send over blockchain, I always first deposit to an exchange and withdraw from there—this way removing the trace to my own addresses (I mean from the perspective of the person who receives the funds).

Being able to transfer with enhanced privacy directly to the user without thinking about what's happening under the hood would attract a certain cohort of blockchain users who currently have to do this manually.
