i also missed some modal enhancements on materialize, after some testings i choosed the
https://github.com/likeastore/ngDialog
as my favorite "modal framework" ..

many customizings (fly in , out .. colors, scope controlling ...) are possibile, and works
nice with the krescruz git ..
