There is an image site called https://snag.gy/ that hosts images and people are using it on Reddit.

However, it has limited image lifetime:

How long will my images last?

If you make an account, your images will be stored as long as they have been viewed at least once in the last 6 months. Pro accounts, an upcoming feature, will have unlimited storage lifetime.

It'd be helpful to have mirroring for this site so the lifetime of the images is pretty unlimited™.
