I don't know if this makes sense for everyone, but it would fit my usecase.
In the Lua code I wrote in issue #56 I use "[X] " and "[ ] " to signify on and off.
Is it possible to set highlight colors instead? For example green for on and red for off?

I haven't got a chnace to look at highlight groups yet, this is something that will be possible. Ill have time after exams to have a look.
