The micro-synteny and macro-synteny viewers' content can be filtered and re-ordered using the controls in the filter form. However, there is no indication within a viewer or its container that a filter is affecting the content. This can be an issue when a filter and/or ordering is applied and then the URL is shared with someone else. The person that opens the link will have no idea that the viewers are showing filtered content unless they inspect the URL or open the filter menu.

For these reasons, the filter (if any) and ordering information affecting a viewer should be added in the space made available by the relocation of the pipelines (see issue #272) so it's always visible when the viewer is visible.
