Make it visually recognizable tute or relative transforms are enable by swapping the helper and axis colors to a different scheme to not confuse operation and transforms.
Describe the solution you'd like
Add preferences to customize colors or have developer choose another color set (ex.: pastels or inverted) to signify that absolute/relative is toggled on
Aside from the small visual written helper on the status bar, nothing really jumps out as to what mode is selected and there have been instances where it thought that there were bugs when in fact, absolute vs relative was not being shown with an 'in your face' kind of approach.
COLORS:
blue could become purple
red could become ornage
green could become fuschia
view sphere and axis colors/origin lines could also be toggled to user's preferences to ensure it is VERY obvious.
