Its rather not a minimap question but I can find no where but here to post my question.
I would wonder that a genome splited into multi-part file, each of which are aligned using same query sequence set would whether produce the same output of aligning the reference genoema as a whole?
This question is actually form the tgsgapcloser. During the minimap2 mapping calling, the executable continues reporting [WARNING] logic inconsisitency in mm_est_err(). Please contact the developer, and the calling would ends with segmetation fault.
I guess the reason is that tgsgapcloser users HiFi reads as templates, which is to large for my memory, therefore I would want to kown is splitting mapping a feasible resolution for my situation
