Add some logic for justifying inline notation

Tom agreed to open ticket for this. Note the stray "(" which is better suited to bump down to start next line.

Unclear if logic already exists for old inline notation already but uncovered during Tom's PR for vertical 2 column notation

Essentially would prob make sense to group elements the same way e4 is never broken up between e and 4 on two different lines and treated as one, the "(" should probably be attached to what succeeds it.
