January Team Sprint Proposal

hi all @rufus Pollock @alexandra @Sylvie Barbier -- Lauren and I checked in yesterday in our team meeting about the idea of scheduling a team "sprint" in January for a retrospective on the past year and planning for the new year, as well as to connect into a sense of team belonging and collective energy.

Our proposal is:

  • Rufus, Catherine, Lauren meet on Friday 10th Jan 2-4:30pm CET to prep/set up the sprint (i.e. outline intentions, goals, structure/schedule)
  • Core sprint runs Mon-Fri w/c 13th Jan, 2-6pm CET. I imagine we would spend some of this time as a whole team and some in smaller groups or individually on specific items. We might also work on sprint items outside of these hours, but these are the hours when we overlap timezones + therefore might work more collectively.
  • Invite Valerie to some of it too, perhaps after we here have confirmed whether these dates/times work for us.
  • [side note: whether as part of this sprint week or at another time, I think it would be valuable to do a team group feedback circle at some point in the new year, using the structure that we used a few times before)
How does this sound? It would be helpful to hear from @rufus Pollock @Sylvie Barbier @alexandra whether you resonate with blocking out this time together + if so, intended attendance (e.g. Alexandra I know would only be around max. Mon-Wed).
