apt remove cups-pk-helper removes "blueman" "cinnamon" "cinnamon-dbg" "mint-meta-cinnamon" packages #12438

Distribution

Mint 22 Cinnamon and Mint 21.2 Cinnamon

Package version

6.2.9 and 5.8.4 respectively

Graphics hardware in use

AMD RX 5700XT and RX 6900XT respectively

Frequency

Always

Bug description

sudo apt remove cups-pk-helper command removes additional packages unrelated to cups.
Affected packages:
blueman
cinnamon
cinnamon-dbg
mint-meta-cinnamon

Here is the screenshot:

After this, restarting your PC leaves you without desktop environment, just mouse hanging around.
CTRL + ALT + F1 brings you to terminal, where you can log in and reinstall above packages to restore desktop functionality after reboot.

This happens on above stated Mint versions on different PCs.

Sorry, if I am posting this in the wrong section.

Steps to reproduce

sudo apt remove cups-pk-helper

Expected behavior

Above command to uninstall just cups-pk-helper and not the rest of the desktop environment.
