Xed 3.3.3 on Mint 20.3, Xed 3.4.3 on LMDE6, Xed 3.4.5 on Mint 21.3. Every version of Xed I've checked.

All Cinnamon. Xed Theme setting: Cobalt (this shouldn't matter as Theme only affects text display area).

When text is changed in an open document, Xed just adds an Asterisk in front of the filename on the tab. For those of us with older eyes, or other visual issues, this change is too subtle. It would be nice if Xed could change the tab foreground or background color, or some other more noticeable visual cue, that the tabbed document is unsaved. Most of the other editors I use make more obvious cues to the tab for changed documents - very helpful.
