I have three ways of accessing tabs in my terminal: Kitty, Yazi, and Neovim. Eventually, I want my only provider of tabs to be Neovim (within reason). I mostly open Kitty tabs when I should really be using suspend. And I mostly open Yazi tabs when I have multiple files to flip between. But, thanks to my recent Yazi integration into Neovim, the Neovim experience with tabs is simply better. I'm still USING Yazi to get between the files, I'm just accessing the different files via Neovim buffers. Disabling the tabs in Yazi will help me to go Neovim-only.
