Where are the Language Files? #3847
-
So the only language in the repo's language folder is English. Yet I see lots of pull requests that seem to have been approved to merge other language files. Have they all been put somewhere outside of the repo? |

Translation files can be placed in the translation folder and set using the argument |

Yes, I understand. My concern is that there were a lot of language files made - I saw many submissions in the PR section and elsewhere - but there is only English in the language folder (and only one variant of English). Have the language files been stored somewhere else? My concern is somewhat of a selfish one. In development of FooocusPlus (which is an independent fork of SimpleSDXL2 and mainline Fooocus with an emphasis on security and more complete compatibility with mainline Fooocus) we currently have support for four languages. Language files for mainline Fooocus would be an asset in extending this support because I am trying to maintain an appearance which is a similar as possible to the original. Of course I can go through all the language PRs and gather up the files but if they are all stored somewhere that would be more efficient. For example, if a user asked for German support here at mainline Fooocus, where would they find it? |

No, these PRs haven't been merged, only labeled for further processing. The Fooocus team had been working on a solution on how to best consolidate all the language PRs until i took over project maintenance, but there hasn't been any update by the team since. This is one of the reasons why i've left the PRs open. Another one is that merging the translaton files would have caused a decrease in development speed.
Feel free to use the files in PRs in your fork.
