Welcome to the sciencebot wiki!
This open-source project is a venture into designing a research vehicle platform which is:
- Capable: Able to carry out complex goals and tasks
- Economical: Pushes functional limits without using overly-expensive components
- Extensible: Can be easily modified (software & hardware payloads) to complete new missions and incorporate additional features
Documentation is organized into 3 main parts: Hardware, Software and the Wiki.
Hardware contains information about the physical build components of the vehicle.
Software contains information about computing per-requisites and package installation steps.
The wiki contains information about project motivations, concepts, and topics.
On the wiki, you can learn more about the ROS Architecture, review sciencebot capabilities, discover the story behind the creation of sciencebot, or learn about topics & concepts used in the sciencebot project, such as:
