Most of the time when I add a new email in the system, it needs approval before being sent. As a courtesy, I like to tell the relevant department head about this so they know the email is ready to send.
However, the only way to actually approve emails is on the /emails/pending page, which is the list of all our automated emails. So, at best, I can send them a link to that page and hope they can find it. The number of emails the system handles is extensive and keeps growing, so this gets harder every year.
Instead, I'd like to link the department head to the email preview page, e.g., /emails/pending_examples?ident=mivs_checklist_open, and have an Approve button on that page so they can easily approve it.
