As the title says :)

I've been doing some python development (trying to make myself a little more useful than an ashtray on a motocycle) and about to start playing with postgis/postgresql

Did a google and first hit I got was psycopg, I can't remember what we used last year for postgresql integration

So is psycopg suitable for me to include in the run up of the python vms or is there a better/more preferred library?

On a side note, its official, I am growing to like python, still have issues with tab/whitespacing (i.e. using someone elses code results in an indenting cluster firetruck...) but otherwise I am growing to like python, partly because there are some bloody cool libraries. Almost to the stage in saying that I am "comfortable" with python (nb comfortable != competent xD)

Anyhow catch ya'll at the BBQ

p/s I hate the new issue button... clicked on it 6x times and couldn't work out why nothing happened...

edit: for my sanity, please make sure any alternatives are pipable :) I already have 2 things in the post runup that are compiling stuff O_o
