release v6

let's release v6.0 with the changes since v5.1 in April.

breaking changes include:

• metadata type
• dropping support for python 3.7

notable improvements:

• 23 new rules
• fancy box drawing output and cleaned up progress bars
• bunch of ELF and Binary Ninja fixes

Release checklist

• Ensure all milestoned issues/PRs are addressed, or reassign to a new milestone.
  • contributing: document CLA #1647
• Add the dont merge label to all PRs that are close to be ready to merge (or merge them if they are ready) in capa and capa-rules.
• Ensure the CI workflow succeeds in master.
• Ensure that python scripts/lint.py rules/ --thorough succeeds (only missing examples offenses are allowed in the nursery). You can manually trigger a thorough lint in CI via the "Run workflow" option.
• Review changes
  • capa v5.1.0...master
  • capa-rules mandiant/capa-rules@v5.1.0...master
• Update CHANGELOG.md
  • Do not forget to add a nice introduction thanking contributors
  • Remember that we need a major release if we introduce breaking changes
  • Sections: see template below
  • Update Raw diffs links
  • Create placeholder for master (unreleased) section

• Create a PR with the updated CHANGELOG.md and capa/version.py. Copy this checklist in the PR description.

  • create tag in capa rules
  • create release in capa rules

• Update internal service

I'll try to get this released this week.

will have to pay special attention to the changes to the CI/CD workflows. the uploads to PyPI and GH may fail so some manual intervention may be needed.
