Ignoring empty field

I was wondering if there's a configuration option or way to ignore empty fields? Can't find anything about it in the docs.

Hey @StevenLangbroek, sorry this wasn't resolved sooner.

I believe this is a duplicate of #24 so this issue will continue there, unless you mean something else @StevenLangbroek in which case please go into more detail about the issue and I'll reopen this issue.
